Hamok is built so that we hold as little about you as possible. This page says exactly what this website stores, what the app will store, and what you can ask us to do.
Who is responsible
The controller of your data is Qvver Technology (Poland). For anything about your data, write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days, usually much faster.
What this website stores
When you join the waitlist, we store:
- your e-mail address,
- the language you used (English or Polish),
- where you signed up from (the front page, the quiz or the footer),
- the time you gave consent.
What this website does not store
Your quiz answers never leave your browser. We do not store them, and they are not attached to your e-mail. The training profile is computed on your device.
We do not use cookies, analytics scripts, advertising pixels or fingerprinting. The only third party between you and our server is Cloudflare, which protects the site against attacks and sees your IP address and request as any proxy does.
Server logs with IP addresses are kept for 7 days for security and then deleted.
Why we process it and for how long
We use your e-mail only to tell you about Hamok's launch and early access, based on the consent you gave (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any e-mail or writing to [email protected].
We keep waitlist addresses until 12 months after the app launches, or until you ask us to delete yours, whichever comes first.
Where the data lives
On servers in the European Union (Hetzner, Finland). E-mails are sent through Resend, which acts as our processor. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
The app, when it ships
Hamok has no accounts. Your sessions, check-ins and quiz answers stay on your iPhone and Apple Watch. If you keep iCloud sync on (you can switch it off in Settings), they are also stored in your own private iCloud database, which we cannot read; Apple is the processor for that storage. Nothing from Apple Health is ever sent to iCloud by Hamok.
Our servers only see an anonymous installation identifier, the version of the training protocol, and, if you opt in separately, aggregated usage events without any health content. Payments are handled by Apple.
Full details will be in the app's privacy notice before the first TestFlight build.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we tell the waitlist by e-mail before it takes effect.
